Cleaner Production Audit Training in Tokat

CLEANER PRODUCTION AUDIT TRAINING PROGRAM WAS HELD IN TOKAT

TÜBİTAK MRC Environment and Cleaner Production Institute, Tokat Provincial Directorate of Science and Industry and Technology, and DİMES Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş jointly held “Applied Cleaner Production Audit Training on September 25, 2017, and September 26, 2017, with 22 participants.

The training was carried out in two stages as "Theoretical Training on Cleaner Production Audit" and "On-site Application of Cleaner Production Audit." The first and second phases of Cleaner Production Audit phase was carried out in DIMES factory in Taşlıçiftlik area and Tokat Technopark, respectively. The introduction of TUBITAK MRC ECPI in the first stage was followed by "Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production" and "Cleaner Production Audit" presentations which provided information on the cleaner production concepts and stages as well as benefits to the enterprises. Groups formed from the participants discussed the relevant case studies. Also, DIMES fruit juice production facility was visited to collect production data. In the second phase, the groups worked on DIMES data and identified cleaner production opportunities for the facility.
